History
Formally established in 2005, Chippewa Tribal Industries (CTI) has organizational roots dating back nearly 20 years.
Today, Chippewa Tribal Industries is co-located with Uniband Enterprises in a 6,000 square foot facility located on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in Belcourt, North Dakota. CTI specializes in providing data conversion services to several divisions of the U.S. Department of Defense including the Air Force, Army and Navy.
Chippewa Tribal Industries also has a sub-contract relationship with Data Conversion Laboratory (DCL), a New York-based firm that has successfully converted over 200 million documents and pages since being established in 1981. This ongoing relationship with DCL provides Chippewa Tribal Industries with access to the latest knowledge and resources in the data conversion field.
CTI also stays on the leading edge of technology and quality assurance through involvement in the Intertribal Information Technology Company (IITC), a consortium of Native American firms that specialize in data conversion and data management.
